Shipping policy


At Urban Cat, we aim to get your kitty’s favourites to you as quickly and smoothly as possible. Please read the details below for everything you need to know about our shipping process.


Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1–3 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays). Once your order has been packed and dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details.

During high-demand periods, launches, or sales, processing times may be slightly extended.


Shipping Within New Zealand

We currently ship across all of New Zealand.

  • Standard Delivery: 2–5 business days

  • Rural Delivery: Please allow an extra 1–2 business days

Delivery times may vary based on your location, courier delays, or weather conditions.


Shipping Fees

Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.

From time to time, we may offer:

  • Free shipping promotions

  • Minimum spend free delivery offers

These will always be clearly displayed on our website when active.


Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, you’ll receive a tracking link via email so you can follow your parcel’s journey right to your door.


Delivery Issues

If your order:

  • Arrives damaged

  • Goes missing

  • Is delayed beyond the expected timeframe

Please contact us immediately at orders@urbancat.co.nz, and we’ll sort it out as quickly as possible.


Incorrect Address

Please ensure your delivery address is correct at checkout. Urban Cat is not responsible for orders sent to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. If your parcel is returned to us, additional shipping fees may apply to resend your order.


International Shipping

At this time, we operate within New Zealand only. International shipping may become available in the future.
